our foresight competency

We count ourselves among the best foresight specialists, particularly in the four following domains:

• the discipline : history, concepts and methods, teaching and practice, both domestic and abroad;

• exploration of possible futures: the identification of not only the developing factors and dominant trends that shape tomorow's world, but also the weak signals, emerging movements, and other events which affect the future in small as well as significant ways.

• a normative approach: defining the desirable futures and providing the means to realize them. This approach is concerned with strategic foresight, managerial foresight, territorial foresight and marketing foresight.

• macrohistory: the history of human transformation and development from the stone age until today. This evolutionary approach facilitates thinking in terms of civilizations, worldviews and 'Big Picture'.
